Members can pay into their loan account(s) in a variety of ways. You can choose from the following methods.
Salary/ Pension Deduction Facility
This is the preferred method of over 90% of our members. The funds are transferred from your salary/pension through the Dept. of Education & Skills and lodged directly to your account in Comhar Linn. When you have decided on the amount you wish to repay, complete a salary/pension deduction mandate and return it with your loan application to the credit union office. Your deduction will commence at the next available deduction date. The Dept. of Education & Skills require a minimum of one months notice before a new or amended deduction can be activated. There is no charge for this service.
When you set up a Direct Debit funds are transferred from your bank account on a regular basis. Each member has their own individual IBAN for their loan account.
Additional or Lump Sum Repayments
Additional and lump sum repayments can be made at any time by cheque, credit transfer or debit/credit card. Please contact the office on 1850 277 377 for more information.
